October 15, 2024 - Topics discussed and decisions made:
Claims for payment and meeting minutes were approved. The commissioners agreed to donate money to next year’s Easter Egg Hunt. Mid Crystal Farms was granted two temporary overweight permits. Roads on the Summit were discussed. Advantage Plus Insurance would like to give a proposal to Oneida County. A joint quarterly report from the county treasurer & auditor was accepted. The Idaho Policing Policy Manual was signed. Details regarding a grant for the school resource officer (SRO) were shared. The Town Hall Meeting on October 30th will focus on emergency preparedness. An Agriculture Protection Ordinance was discussed. The Planning & Zoning Commission is proposing a fee schedule. Oneida County and Malad City Area of Impact Ordinance was discussed. An update on the Deep Creek Reservoir – Forest Service Agreement was given. Commissioners signed the Standardized Extension Agreement for the county extension agent. Plans for the winterization of water systems at fairgrounds were discussed. An update on Summit National Bank was given. A meeting proxy form was signed for the Southeast Idaho Public Health Annual Conference. The annual contract for Computer Arts Software & Support License was signed. The titles and registrations of Oneida County vehicles are in the process of being organized. An executive session

October 28, 2024 - Topics discussed and decisions made:
Claims for payment and meeting minutes were approved. A resolution to open the FY2024 budget was passed. A resolution to distribute PILT money was passed. The extension office will now have summer and winter hours. The commissioners will support a 4-H grant. Refreshments were approved for the upcoming Town Hall meeting. Employee cross training was approved for one employee. A copy machine lease was signed. The weed department is looking for the best solution for equipment that helps with drone operation and documentation. The road & bridge department will receive money from the PILT fund. The road & bridge departments request to purchase a vehicle was approved. A wage increase for one road & bridge employee was approved. Excess county property will be listed for sale. The agreement for Deep Creek reservoir was signed. The communications building and radio club lease was discussed. The commissioners will schedule training about ICRMP insurance for county employees. The upcoming public hearing for the proposed fee schedule was discussed. An executive session was held. Planning & Zoning board replacements were made. A presentation on a Next Generation (NG) 911 system was given.
